Everything you need to know about visiting Clip 'n Climb at The O2

Do I have to pay to assist my child if I don't climb?

No. You don’t have to pay to enjoy and assist your kid(s) inside the climbing area.

What are your opening times?

I have no previous climbing experience, is Clip 'n Climb for me?

Clip ‘n Climb is designed to be fun for all people 4 and up.  The difficulty of our challenges vary so there’s something for everyone to have a go at, from beginners to experts. Our staff will also be there to assist with those less confident. And we can make it harder if needed of course!

How long do Clip 'n Climb sessions last?

60 Minutes – Sessions comprise of a 20 minute safety briefing and harness fitting, followed by 40 minutes in the arena.

When do I need to arrive?

For a regular climbing session, please arrive at least 5 minutes before your session so we can ensure you are signed in and ready for briefing.

For a birthday party, please arrive 10 minutes before your session.

It is best to let your party guests know to arrive with plenty of time before the training start time.

In our experience, it’s valuable saying 15 minutes to allow for “late comers”. Although we will do our best to accommodate late guests by doing extra harnessing & training sessions (within reason), it is not possible for us to extend their climbing time, so it is always in their best interest to show up on time and make the most of their 40 minute climb time.

Is there parking on site?

Yes, The O2 has over 2,100 parking spaces available, so it’s easy to arrive by car. You can park in Car Parks 2,3 or 4, where hourly rates apply. For more information, please visit:  theo2.co.uk/visit-us/getting-to-the-o2/parking/

Where is Clip ‘n Climb located?

Once inside The O2, you’ll find us on the lower level, in the Entertainment District, opposite Mamma Mia! The Party.

What should I wear?

Please wear comfortable clothing and trainers.

Open toed shoes, flip flops, boots, crocs, rock shoes or heels are not permitted in the climbing arena.

Long hair must be tied back and all loose jewellery, hats or hooded tops must be removed prior to climbing for safety reasons.

Throw some indoor shoes in your car for winter months just in case.

Do I need to bring any equipment with me?

No, equipment is provided by us and there are no additional hire fees for this.

We recommend you to bring your water bottle, and comfortable clothes and shoes.

Do you have wheelchair access?

Yes, our ground floor is wheelchair friendly.

Do you have lockers?

Yes, we have small lockers and cubbies available that are free to use. They are big enough for coats or a small bag.

Do you sell gift vouchers?

Indeed we do. They are available to purchase over the phone, on the website or in person.  Gift cards are all digital but can be printed out for that special gift.

Can I leave my child unattended?

Children under 18yrs need a responsible adult (parent or guardian) on site.

SEN Sessions have a shorter safety briefing – which is watching a 5-minute video and then help putting on the climber’s harness.
